Aaron Shafran is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in enhancing customer experiences through digital channels across various industries. He’s held leadership roles at IKEA, Marriott, FBI, and Capital One.

At IKEA, Aaron served as the Global Vice President of Product and Strategy for Customer Service, Remote Sales, and New Ventures. In this pivotal role, he orchestrated the evolution of IKEA's approach by spearheading the adoption of digital channels for service and sales. His strategic vision also played a key role in enabling IKEA's foray into new business domains, including B2B, Energy, Circular, and Financial Services. During his tenure at Marriott, Aaron assumed the role of Global Vice President, leading the transformation of the Bonvoy Mobile App into a comprehensive travel companion. Under his guidance, the app evolved from a mere booking platform to a seamless travel experience provider, covering guest services from pre-arrival through in-stay services.

Academically, Aaron holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami. His commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is further highlighted by his Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.

Aaron lives outside Washington, DC, along with his wife, Stacy, their son, Warner, and their three-year-old Labrador, Rawley. Aaron enjoys exploring new places to travel with his family, imparting the skills of golf, soccer, and tennis to his son, and embarking on trail hikes with his loyal companion, Rawley.
